Cascade Baking Company is located
in one of Salem's oldest buildings in the downtown community.
Originally built in 1869, the structure is an ideal location to
house an old-world style brick oven and bakery. Once you are inside
the delightful smells of our baked goods and breads fill the air.
All our products are made fresh daily using only natural and local
ingredients with no artificial preservatives.
The bakery opens at 7:00 a.m. weekdays and 9:00 Saturdays so
you can enjoy our fresh brewed organic shade-grown, fair trade
coffee along with our extensive collection of danish, scones,
coffeecakes, and other delicious baked goods. Throughout the morning
all sorts of piping hot breads come out of the hand-built brick
oven. Midday deli lunches are available which includes gourmet
sandwiches, veggie topped focaccias, soups, and a variety of salads
all made in-house by our staff. We remain open to 6:00 p.m. weekdays
and 3:00 Saturdays so folks may pick up breads fresh for dinner
or evening parties.
